African Swine Fever

African swine fever (ASF) is an acute, potent, highly contracted infectious disease caused by African swine fever virus (ASFV) with a high incidence and mortality rate of up to 100%.

The World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) lists it as a notifiable animal disease and China lists it as a Class A animal disease.
